Our garden near the Bristol Channel enjoys a fairly mild climate although it is quite windy.   The soil is a free draining loam with a neutral pH. which requires the addition of plenty of humus each year to keep it in good heart.  We laid out a third-acre plot which had been part of a larger garden, and planted tall evergreen hedges for shelter and division.  The beds and borders are planted with our favourite plants, and are subject to changes and new ideas.

We grow our own plants from seed and cuttings to decorate the garden and fill display pots.  These include lots of tender perennials, several unusual climbers as well as annuals to fill the gaps, old fashioned sweet peas for cutting and display and many different salvia species.   The surplus plants are sold on open and by appointment days.

If you would like to visit us please click on our opening times for information.  There is adequate street parking in Channel Road.

We are unable to offer refreshments but there are cafes, restaurants and Public Houses less than a mile from the garden on Clevedon's seafront.
