Changes for 2008

Apart from the necessary repairs and  replacement of timbers to various structures, we have removed a large laurel hedge and intend to replace it with trellis work panels with new plantings on either side in harmony with the existing garden that the trellis will divide.

On the left is the laurel hedge before removal and on the right is the bare site before the new trellis and replanting has been installed.

Another area that is due for renovation is a longish narrow border contained by a dry stone wall.  This will be planted up with a mix of shrubs, perennials and grasses that enjoy a hot dry situation.
